MAKING HISTORY

SpaceDucks is a collaboration by OWL and Cal Poly, aiming to improve communications in challenging environments using high-altitude network devices as relay points.

This effort leverages LoRa RF technology and a layered network approach to overcome terrestrial obstacles like mountains and buildings. The goal of these atmospheric balloon launches is to test and refine this mesh networking solution. These tests will inform further research and development into resilient, cost-effective tools for disaster response, sensor networking, and defense.
